How we do

Modes of intervention

Assessment

We use assessment tools at three levels to identify the levers and obstacles of the Agility journey: Individual (L2A), Team (T2A), and Organization (02A).

grow

Learning

An Agile organization or an individual is someone who is open to feedback and regularly learning; we create learning spaces that turn participants into actors.

facilitation

Facilitation is a posture we regularly use to foster appropriation and collective intelligence.

coaching

Coaching is provided at Team and/or Individual level to foster adoption of new behaviours and practices, and to make change happen.

consulting

Consulting

We recommend on the overall Agility framework and connect Agility to the various business functions.

plane

Drive

When best required, we are happy to drive innovation projects and programs on behalf of our clients.

Our commitments

We are AGILE: we use cooperative and innovative approaches in our interventions to maximize collective intelligence, adoption, and impact.
We are makers: we adapt and act with you in an operational mode.

people
We believe people act with intelligence based on their goals, resources, and constraints. We use both rational and emotional elements to engage people.
constructive
We build on the positive core of the organization. We position all stakeholders as actors of the adventure.
holistic
We consider multiple levers to identify the best way to maximize projects results.
cooperative
We don’t blame for failure but for lack of cooperation. We use participative approaches and leverage collective intelligence. We fight silos. We share information and knowledge as soon as relevant.
meaning-seeking
We favour the “why” over the “how”. We align with the project actors on a meaningful and valuable quest.
agile
We adapt the path to reach the destination. We stay in motion, take small steps, experiment, and achieve quick wins.

What is Agility?

Agility is the ability to quickly sense one’s environment in line with one’s strategic purpose & identity in order to easily change reactively (adaptation) and proactively (innovation) in a VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous).

Open to environment

An agile organization is open to its environment and easily catches weak signals that are collectively interpreted through a referential framework.

Collective auto-adaptation

Collective auto-adaptation can be found in nature where purposeful behaviour emerges from collective intelligence without central direction or control.

Artificial systems such as a free market economy, or the Internet, exhibit the same behavior.

Reconfigure and scale

Lego blocks exhibit agile properties as they allow to easily reconfigure and scale.

GPS system

In a complex world, projects require agility in their implementation, using shorter feedback cycles.

A GPS-system continuously recalculates the best road to destination, by considering unexpected traffic jams.

How is Agility generated?

Agility is a capability that must be actively practiced.
It is generated by the Agility Cycle, a 3-stages process that must be vivid and fluid. Each time an iteration is completed, it generates feedback and therefore new learnings leading to an enhanced next iteration.

Sense
Appropriately sensing and anticipating changes in the environment
Some of the key questions that should be answered at this stage:

  • Are we sufficiently awake to capture signals?
  • Can we selectively concentrate my / our attention?
  • What are we blind to?
  • Which biases and frames do we use to focus on and colour signals?
  • What does matter? On which domains should we focus?
  • Which threats and opportunities does this signal represent going forward?
Strategize
Making sense of the captured signals, deciding on and designing the most appropriate plan
Some of the key questions that should be answered at this stage:

  • How do we interpret the sensed info?
  • What do we decide? How do we decide?
  • What is the plan going forward?
Act
Reacting to change and proactively advancing in uncertain conditions by taking actions and mobilizing people
The key questions that should be considered in this stage of the cycle are:

  • What’s the first step to take?
  • What should we adapt?
  • What do we need to test & experiment?
  • What can we build to get fast and cheap users’ feedback?
  • How can we learn faster and cheaper?
  • How can we mobilize people?

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. – African proverb

Transforming Organizations and People is like an adventure, it is like an unorganized trip although you are well prepared. It requires high energy levels and strategic insights. It is all about enabling leaders and people to make it work with their heads, hearts and hands. What is have learned from life and work is that, because one does not fit all, collective intelligence is essential to address complexity and develop Agile solutions…
After more than 20 years working as HR Executive and member of Executive teams in large US pharma multinationals, what I enjoy most today is transforming organizations, crafting HR Strategies, designing organizations, reinvent the way we # Work # Collaborate # Learn and work with people through inspiring and forward thinking ideas with the customer at the heart of our solutions.

I love people and digital products, and I think they can get along quite well if communication is right. Talk with users to understand their needs, talk with teams to co-create value, talk with stakeholders to understand the risks and find compromises. Talk often to avoid talking too long. I am convinced Agility both at the Individual and Organizational level can make people’s daily life more meaningful and motivating.
I have acquired experience with Scrum methodology and Agile Product Ownership. What I like the most about being agile is this ability to adapt and improve quickly thanks to a fast feedback loop, with both users and stakeholders. With a constantly evolving environment, it is crucial to become aware about what is happening outside and inside the organization to be able to act on it. With clear goals, transparency, collaboration and regular inspection and reflection, we build trust, engage people, achieve greater outcomes and improve constantly. Having also developed skills in the UX/UI field, I believe that organizations should focus on what brings the most value for their user or customers and seek for the best experience.

My career has been devoted to helping companies and their management reconnect with the soul of their organization.
Nothing drives positive organizational outcomes as much as strategy and leadership that are aligned with company culture and identity. When these are in sync, it creates the conditions for organizations to align and perform in truly powerful and meaningful ways.
Companies that have a profound connection with who they truly are – rather than who they pretend to be, are in a stronger position to engage and inspire both inside and outside their organization. Organizational identity establishes a strategic framework that sets the conditions for increased agility, coherence and performance in all the initiatives a company undertakes.
